The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to fill entry-level positions as Law Enforcement Officers . As a valued member of the CBP team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our nation's borders and enforcing immigration laws.
Job Description:
- Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Prevent smuggling operations along the border by utilizing surveillance techniques
- Analyze evidence related to illicit activities at or near the borders
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
You must meet one of the following requirements for GL-5 grade level: One year general work experience that demonstrates ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations. OR A bachelor's degree or completion of four-year course study leading to an accredited college university OR A combination including relevant general work experience AND successfully completed education.For GL-7 grade level, you must have One year specialized experience showing skills necessaryto make sound judgments, analyze information rapidly, deal effectively with people courteous manner connection law enforcement matters,HONESTY INTACTLY IS MANDATORY" ", analyze information rapidly on prompt decisions where making arrests would be expected after required training applying these skills in law enforcement capacity such criminal code enforcement determining violations correctional rehabilitation security military etcHire FEDRA located results fast flow effective influence ever
