We are looking for a motivated veterinary technician to add to our team! Duties of the veterinary technician include patient care, diagnostic procedures (i.e. blood draws, x-rays, etc.) hospital cleanliness, anesthesia administration & monitoring, and much more. The ideal candidate should be proficient with drawing blood, taking x-rays, administering & monitoring anesthesia, and animal restraint. If you have previous experience in veterinary medicine, we’d love to meet you! Ultimately, a successful veterinary technician will provide excellent patient care, work well with the team, and allow us to strengthen the human-animal bond by providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our veterinary patients, while treating all clients with kindness and respect.

*Requirements:*
* Associate's degree or higher
* Preference - Veterinary Technician Certification or License
* Experience in veterinary medicine
Will also be on a rotating schedule with the other technicians for on-call emergencies (8:00am - 8:00pm). This includes working the occasional Saturday and having a pager (at least once every 6 weeks) in which the doctor could call to come in at any time during the weekend between 8:00am - 8:00pm. Our hospital has 35+ years of experience and consists of two locations: Middlebury Center, PA and Mansfield, PA.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
