Senior Coordinator – Institute Office of Ministry
Location:
101 Mercy Drive Belmont, NC
Salary Range:
$26.50 – $36.50/hr
Job Summary
The Senior Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support to the Institute Office of Ministry (IoM) co-directors and staff. This role is ideal for a professional, self-motivated individual who can manage multiple priorities, support ministry operations, and facilitate communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Assist IoM co-directors and ministry staff with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Oversee executive communications and coordinate interactions with ministry leaders, Institute Leadership Team, Mercy Ministry Corporation Board, and other supporting groups.
- Prepare and maintain official documents, including corporate minutes, resolutions, and staff notes.
- Schedule and coordinate in-person and video meetings for staff, boards, committees, and ministry events.
- Submit financial requests and assist with preparing the IoM budget for travel, meetings, and administrative costs.
Communications & Records Management
- Maintain databases, systems, and technology interfaces for ministry operations.
- Manage collection and organization of paper and electronic ministry information.
- Serve as liaison with Mercy Source 2 staff and archives to ensure accurate recordkeeping and archiving of materials.
Mission Formation & Ministry Stewardship
- Prepare and format internal resource documents, training materials, and board/staff formation materials.
- Provide support for ministry stewardship review processes and related committees.
Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the mission and operations of IoM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an executive assistant.
- Strong organizational, self-motivation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and as a team member.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and database applications/software.
- Discretion and integrity in handling confidential matters.
- Understanding and willingness to learn the traditions and culture of the Sisters of Mercy and the Catholic Church.
- Availability for travel as needed.
