Class A Truck Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating manual and/or automatic trucks. This position involves transporting freight deliveries with lift gate if needed to residential and commercial locations safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive Class A trucks, including 28"-36" trailers
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or manual methods as required.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
• Ensure that cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
• 10-15 stops to delivery/pick-ups

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating Class A vehicles
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to operate palette jack for loading and unloading freight.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
