Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play, exploration, and creativity
• Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social-emotional growth, independence, and curiosity
• Manage classroom routines, including meal times, nap schedules, diapering, and hygiene practices
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response in emergencies
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and caregivers
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to infant care, toddler care, and overall childcare standards
