Duties

• Lead the preparation and cooking of authentic, high-quality pizzas, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality standards
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
• Oversee menu planning for pizza offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative recipes
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Manage inventory levels for ingredients specific to pizza preparation, minimizing waste while ensuring freshness
• Ensure all food preparation meets health standards and company policies for cleanliness and safety
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent food service and customer satisfaction during peak hours

Skills

• Extensive culinary experience with a focus on pizza making and kitchen operations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team of culinary professionals
• Proven expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and fine dining techniques
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods related to pizza crafting
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is a plus
