Staff Accountant

6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Staff Accountant – Payables, Commissions & Reconciliations in Atlanta, GA (hybrid schedule after training in office). This role focuses on accounting ownership of installer payments, sales commissions, and Accounts Payable reconciliations, with an emphasis on accuracy, controls, and process improvement. The position partners closely with operations and accounting leadership to support month-end close and drive increased automation in a growing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile installer payments and related liability accounts, ensuring proper accruals and period accuracy.

• Process sales commissions, validate calculations, and reconcile commission liabilities monthly.

• Maintain integrity of the Accounts Payable ledger, resolving variances, credits, and aged balances.

• Support month-end close, audits, system reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 3–6 years of accounting or accounting operations experience.

• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and advanced Excel skills.

• Experience with reconciliations,
