Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Cell Therapy Specialist - I to join our innovative research and development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing cell-based therapies by conducting cutting-edge experiments, optimizing cell culture processes, and supporting the development of novel therapeutic approaches. Your expertise will contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of complex biological assays, fostering breakthroughs in regenerative medicine and personalized treatments. Duties

  • Cultivate and maintain mammalian cell cultures, including primary cells and cell lines, ensuring optimal growth conditions and quality control.
  • Perform tissue culture techniques such as transfection, cell sorting, and cryopreservation to support research projects.
  • Conduct molecular biology procedures including DNA isolation, PCR amplification, Western blotting, ELISA assays, and next-generation sequencing sample preparation.
  • Utilize flow cytometry for cell analysis, sorting, and phenotyping to characterize cellular responses and therapeutic efficacy.
  • Implement CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) protocols to ensure compliance during cell therapy manufacturing processes.
  • Design and execute experiments involving bioinformatics tools using R or Python for data analysis and interpretation of complex biological datasets.
  • Support assay development for evaluating cellular functions such as proliferation, differentiation, transfection efficiency, and viability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects involving genetics, biochemistry, and quantum engineering principles applied to cell therapy innovations.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory records, prepare technical reports, and contribute to scientific publications or presentations.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Proven laboratory experience in tissue culture techniques with a focus on mammalian cells.
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology methods including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and next-generation sequencing workflows.
  • Familiarity with flow cytometry instrumentation and data analysis software.
  • Knowledge of CGMP standards applicable to cell therapy manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with bioinformatics tools such as R or Python for data analysis is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of cell biology concepts including transfection methods, assay development, and cellular characterization techniques.
  • Prior involvement in scientific research projects within biotechnology or biopharmaceutical settings is advantageous.
