We're looking for an experienced On-Site Property Manager who shares our values to join our team in managing a mid-rise office building in Dallas.
Tenant & Lease Administration
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary tenant contact, addressing concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Manage lease administration tasks, including rent collection, renewals, and occupancy reporting.
- Prepare reports on building performance, occupancy, and tenant relations.
Accounting & Financial Management
Responsibilities
- Oversee building finances: budgeting, rent collection, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with senior management on financial planning and capital projects.
- Ensure accurate preparation and submission of reports.
Maintenance & Construction Oversight
Responsibilities
- Manage daily building operations, including repairs, maintenance, and janitorial services.
- Conduct regular property inspections and oversee preventative maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate vendor contracts, service providers, and construction/renovation projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and corporate policies.

- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.

- Safety and compliance awareness.
What does it take be successful at SCM?
- An ownership mentality ("We treat it like we own it.")
- Experience with commercial property management (2-3 years; office, retail, and flex-NO APARTMENTS) to include budgets and CAMs
- A problem solver; you take initiative to make decisions that are in the best interest of the company, our tenants, and the landlord
- A magician; you have the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once and magically solve issues as they arise
- A chameleon: you're able to work harmoniously with people who have different personality and work styles
- You're up for the challenge, no matter how big or small.
