Dental Patient Coordinator

Fountain Dental Center is an established family dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to join us full-time. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45am-5pm

Compensation: $23-$25/hr, plus attainable bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering a distinctive patient experience in person and over the phone.
• Answer phones, schedule patients, check patients in and out, and collect co-pays.
• Update patient demographic information in the patient management system.
• Perform front office duties such as refilling the coffee machine and checking bathroom supplies.
• Keep patient waiting area clean and stocked with supplies.
• Communicate to team when their patient has arrived in a friendly and prompt fashion.
• Collect co-pays and patient balances in person and over the phone.
• Utilize patient communication software to send out appointment confirmations.

• 2+ years of dental front office experience is required
• Reliable transportation
• Basic computer knowledge
• Denticon software experience is a plus but is not required
• Working knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
• Excellent computer and typing skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
