We are looking for a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed correctly and efficiently. This position is integral to our **logistics** chain, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. **Safety** is our top priority, and we provide all necessary **PPE** and training to ensure a secure workplace. While the primary focus is administrative, occasional **lifting** of packages may be required to assist the shipping team. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate with freight carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Verify outgoing shipments against orders for accuracy.
- Track shipments and provide status updates as needed.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and the proper use of **PPE**.
- Assist with **loading** and **lifting** of packages as needed to support the shipping team.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of **logistics** processes.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar administrative/warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of basic **logistics** and shipping procedures.
- Awareness of **safety** protocols and the importance of **PPE**.
- Ability to perform occasional **lifting** of packages up to 30 lbs.
