At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
GKN Aerospace are currently looking for a Graduate Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to join the business on a permanent basis. The Business Intelligence & Data Analyst will sit within the Data & Business Intelligence team and play a key role in enabling the business to govern itself effectively through high-quality data, insight, and decision-support tools.
The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining analytical tools and visualisations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insight. These tools will allow leaders and teams across the site to understand performance quickly, identify issues or anomalies, and make timely, well-informed decisions without the need to interpret raw data.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards using analytical platforms.
Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks, issues, and anomalies, providing clear insight and recommendations to the business.
Design and refine KPI frameworks aligned to business priorities.
Translate complex datasets into intuitive, coherent visual outputs.
Partner with teams across the site.
Support the continuous improvement.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the site’s KPI and reporting suite.
Work as part of a specialist team, deploying analytical capability across the site while maintaining consistency and best practice.

Qualifications And Experience
A recent graduate of a bachelor's or a master's degree, ideally within a relevant subject such as Business Analytics, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Maths, Data Science/Analytics, and Computer Science etc.
Strong analytical capability.
Understanding of databases and data structures.
Anility to design KPI frameworks.
Desirable - experience using Power BI or similar.
Desirable - exposure to Power Query and automated data preparation techniques.
