Overview

This is not a maintenance role. This is an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.

ForTheVeteran is rapidly growing, and our needs are changing almost daily. We are looking for a Marketing Manager who is excited by a fast paced, high results driven environment and wants to build and scale a high performing marketing department focused on serving the veteran community. This role is for a self starter who gets things done, does them well, and takes full ownership of results. You will have the freedom to create, test, learn, and build campaigns that drive real engagement and real leads, with clear accountability tied to performance.

If you love creative strategy, campaigns that connect emotionally, and using data to constantly improve, this role is for you. If you are not excited by ownership, accountability, and rapid change, this will not be a good fit.

What You Will Do

You will own the marketing function and help turn it into a best in class engine.

You will build and execute campaigns that resonate with veterans and drive engagement and qualified leads.

You will manage paid advertising, social media, partnerships, and community driven initiatives.

You will test everything, track everything, and use data to guide decisions.

You will work closely with intake and operations to ensure marketing promises match the veteran experience.

You will help shape the brand voice and creative direction across all channels.

You will experiment often, learn quickly, and continuously improve performance.

We believe that if we are not failing sometimes, we are not trying hard enough. We learn from what does not work and get better fast.

Who You Are

You are a self starter who does not need to be micromanaged.

You take pride in execution and follow through.

You love numbers, dashboards, and understanding what is working and why.

You are creative but grounded in results.

You are comfortable testing ideas, taking risks, and iterating quickly.

You care deeply about building trust with the veteran community.

Experience with paid ads, social media, community engagement, and partnership marketing is preferred. Experience building or helping scale a marketing function is a big plus.

What Success Looks Like

You are driving consistent, high quality veteran leads.

Campaigns are engaging, thoughtful, and performance driven.

Marketing data is clear, actionable, and trusted.

The brand is respected and resonates with veterans.

You are actively building a scalable marketing machine, not just running ads.

Final Note

This is a fast paced, high expectations, high opportunity role. This is an amazing opportunity for the right person. You will have room to build, learn, and make a real impact. We expect full effort, ownership, and results. If reading this excites you, we want to talk to you. If anything here feels off or unappealing, please do not waste your time or ours.
