Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and reliably across designated routes. Your expertise in driving different vehicle configurations, including refrigerated trailers will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across diverse routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Drive a variety of specialized trailers including refrigerated units to meet delivery requirements.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns before and after each trip.
• Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while minimizing delays.
• Secure freight properly during transit to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments needed.
• Assist with load & unload processes as required, ensuring cargo is handled carefully and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols related to operating various truck types including refrigerated trailers.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle types operated (e.g., Class A ).
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on freight delivery; prior experience with delivery driver roles is highly valued.
• Expertise in handling different trailer types such as refrigerated units.
• Strong knowledge of driving techniques for manual transmissions and tractor-trailer configurations.
• Familiarity with route planning software and GPS navigation systems for efficient route execution.
• Excellent safety record with a commitment to following all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers effectively. Pay: $0.48 - $0.50 per mile
