Barista/Cashier (PT)

DoubleTree Orlando Airport is hiring a Part-Time Barista/Cashier for the Made Market inside the hotel. The Barista prepares and serves coffee and other beverages while delivering friendly, efficient customer service in a café or coffee shop. They operate equipment like espresso machines, follow drink recipes, handle transactions and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Baristas also help create a welcoming environment and may recommend products or answer customer questions about the menu. Must have open availability.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares beverages requested by customers or servers according to procedures and in a timely matter.
• Enters orders into a computerized system and settles check(s) upon completion of order.
• Performs pre and post-shift side work including stock service station, makes coffee, etc.
• Provides a friendly, courteous, positive, and professional attitude to customers and guests.
• Maintains a clean work area that adheres to health and safety standards.
• Sets up the front bar and back bar according to established procedures.
• Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.

Education/Experience

• No specific educational accomplishment is necessary; high school diploma is preferred.
• Previous restaurant/hospitality experience is preferred.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Previous barista experience is preferred.

This position requires working the morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends and holidays.
