Commercial Driver's License Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating various types of trucks and trailers to ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight across designated routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, excellent route management skills, and experience handling different types of cargo. Duties

• Operate trucks with manual transmissions, including flatbeds with teledyne.
• Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
• Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure the securement of freight during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow route schedules precisely to meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.

Skills

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission operation preferred.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and freight handling.
• Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently and safely using appropriate equipment like forklifts if necessary.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight transportation.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Good communication skills for coordinating deliveries and reporting issues. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our logistics services by ensuring freight is delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition.
