2nd & 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician/Mechanic

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics to keep their highly automated facility running smoothly. Pay:
$28–$30/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:
2nd and 3rd Shift Available

Overtime & Weekend Availability Required
What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair automated packaging machinery, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, controls, motors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform welding (gas/arc) and soldering when needed.
• Support facility systems such as steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration.
• Identify, order, and install parts from manuals and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety, and facility cleanliness standards.
• Document and communicate repair activities to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Contribute to a strong food safety culture by monitoring for contamination risks and following all policies.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma/GED or 5+ years of related industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical skills with industrial equipment; electrical troubleshooting experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and automated machinery.
• Basic plumbing, carpentry, and facility maintenance skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments strongly preferred.
