Responsibilities and Duties
Ideal for those who excel at requirement gathering, creating comprehensive stakeholder scopes, and collaborating closely with development teams to translate these into engineering solutions.
Project management: drive the delivery of product initiatives, define timelines, identify dependencies and risks.
Stakeholder engagement and communication: liaise with external and internal stakeholders to provide updates and ensure product objectives are met.
Contribution to product roadmap: keep it aligned with evolving business priorities.
Provide comprehensive training materials (in English) for internal teams and clients.
Innovate and collaborate: solve problems creatively, challenge stakeholders, and propose process, technology and framework changes to improve implementations.
Risk assessment: identify and mitigate risks.
Use tools such as MS Project to manage forecasts.
Experience The successful candidate will have a strong and positive work ethic, the ability to forge lasting relationships at all levels, and a strong appetite to learn in the role.
Essential Requirements
Business analyst experience building requirements for trading technology solutions in electronic traded asset classes, preferably equity trading.
Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Proven track record of delivering multiple projects with timely delivery and quality.
Experience working with engineering teams using Agile/Scrum SDLC, translating business requirements into stories and epics.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive technical documentation and API specifications.
Desired but not a must
Understanding of ultra‑low latency distributed computing environments.
Familiarity with FIX trading protocol and market data systems.
Knowledge of networking (TCP/UDP) and multicast data delivery.
Understanding of traditional and on‑premises physical infrastructure and distributed server architectures on Linux.
Experience in a highly regulated environment.
Experience with wireframes and GUI framework outlines.
Proficiency in Spanish.
