Search Engine Optimization Specialist Location:

Develop target keyword lists.
Perform competitive analysis.
Analyze website architecture, content, linking and other factors to identify issues and opportunities for SEO.
Provide detailed, written recommendations to clients to improve website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Work with clients ongoing to assist with implementation of recommended changes, answer questions, develop SEO strategies, review planned projects for SEO factors, run and analyze reports, and other tasks that will drive ongoing improvement in client SEO positions.
Monitor and research industry trends related to SEO to continually improve knowledge and skills, and communicate new ideas and trends to clients and co-workers.
Work with our team of SEM and lead qualification specialists as needed to assist customers with overall search marketing programs.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
2+ years of SEO experience
Track record of analyzing SEO issues and opportunities, and providing and implementing recommendations to improve SEO positions.
Knowledge of SEO techniques and factors that drive long term success, and awareness of "black hat" or other techniques that might damage success
Familiarity with website systems, architectures, languages and platforms, including LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), .NET, ASP, Java, JSP, Cold Fusion, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience working with cross functional teams both within and between organizations.
Ability to be self directed, highly motivated and have fun while working hard in a startup environment.
Knowledge of paid search (PPC) search marketing programs and techniques a plus.

Day-to-day duties for the full-time, entry-level position based in our Fort Lauderdale, Tampa or your home office will include preparing stories and photos for posting at the PriceWheels, CarPurchasingPower and AutoLoanDaily.com site, as well as writing blog entries and other copy.
Candidates should have a background in journalism or related discipline and have some knowledge and understanding of present day automotive industry news and trends. Using the Internet as a tool to find news and information is also a plus.
All candidates should have a solid computing base. Working with our content management system and blog upload tool to post articles and other items will be a No. 1 priority.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and associated Adobe publishing programs is a plus as working with and posting digital photos to the site will be part of the daily routine. Experience with Microsoft Word suite is also a plus.
All candidates should be able to work effectively under tight deadlines and in a team environment.
Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field. Minimum one year of academic related experience, or work experience. HTML Internet and Microsoft Office experience.
