The Role The Senior Content & Brand Manager will own Maple’s editorial voice and content strategy, shaping how the world understands onchain asset management at a pivotal moment of growth for Maple. You’ll position Maple as the definitive thought leader in institutional DeFi, building a content operation that educates, converts, and compounds over time. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the founders, product, and BD teams, you’ll translate complex financial and technical concepts into sharp, credible content across long-form, social, campaigns, and community. The ideal candidate has experience in content, editorial, and brand marketing at financial services, fintech, or crypto/Web3 companies, and has played an important role in building and scaling content operations. The successful candidate will thrive in a high-paced, autonomous environment and be excited by the opportunity to shape the brand narrative and drive the commercial impact at a leading onchain asset manager. Responsibilities Drive Maple's content strategy across channels, owning SEO, product launches, go-to-market assets, long-form research, and email/newsletter programs to build authority in onchain asset management. Own Maple’s full funnel content calendar and editorial roadmap , ensuring all output is purposeful, on-brand, and timely. Be the guardian of Maple’s brand voice online and offline across paid, owned and earned media, to extend Maple’s reach, engagement, credibility, and distribution. Run Maple's social presence (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, community) with content tailored to institutional, partner, and retail audiences, and a repeatable social content engine that includes data threads, weekly market commentary, and educational series. Build credibility through earned media by managing PR agency relationships, developing story angles, and securing coverage and thought-leadership placements that position Maple as the go-to voice in institutional DeFi. Manage external agencies, freelancers, and ambassadors, and drive content with partners, maintaining quality, consistency, and efficient use of budget across all output. Requirements 6+ years in content, editorial, PMM or brand marketing in financial services, fintech, or crypto/Web3. Exceptional writer, able to make complex financial concepts compelling and clear without oversimplifying. Strong storytelling and communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and content performance to senior stakeholders. Proven ability to create content for both retail and institutional/enterprise audiences. Experience in co-marketing with ecosystem players, strategic partners, and institutional counterparties. Builder and operator mindset, able to build and manage a content operation, not just execute within one. Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment with a small team.
