Application Support and Business Analyst Salary: £45,000 + excellent company benefits
Location / Hybrid: Slough – hybrid working available
Our client, a well-established and growing organisation, is seeking an experienced Application Support & Business Analyst to join their team. This is a varied and engaging role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across both technical and business functions, supporting key systems while driving improvements and change.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure business systems operate effectively, while also contributing to projects and enhancements across the organisation.
Duties include
Providing day‑to‑day support for business‑critical applications
Investigating and resolving system issues and operational queries
Gathering and documenting business requirements
Coordinating system changes, upgrades, and enhancements
Supporting projects from initial scoping through to delivery
Liaising with internal teams and third‑party suppliers
Coordinating testing activities, including user acceptance testing
Supporting end users with training and system guidance
Producing clear documentation and identifying process improvements
Ensuring smooth rollout of updates across systems and environments
Managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Experience & skills required
Previous experience within an application support or business analysis role
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities
Proven experience managing projects or system changes
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Comfortable working with business systems and supporting users
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience within a regulated or financial environment is advantageous
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
