New Wave Design (NWD) is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Sales Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer‑focused mindset, and a passion for learning about cutting‑edge embedded computing systems used in Aerospace and Defense applications.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, this position supports the sales organization by engaging with new and existing customers to promote NWD’s FPGA‑based hardware and system‑level solutions. The Senior Sales Associate will research and profile potential sales targets, develop and maintain the sales pipeline, and provide responsive, professional support throughout the sales cycle, from lead qualification to order closure. This role works closely with the Regional Sales Leaders, National Account Leader, and Inside Sales to ensure a seamless customer experience and to help drive bookings growth in alignment with company goals.
Salary Range: $81,000.00-$139,000.00

Requirements
Interact with new and existing customers to increase sales of NWD’s products and services.
Manage customer accounts within a pre-defined territory within the US Eastern Region.
Research, profile, and qualify potential customers to develop a robust and accurate sales pipeline.
Utilize proven sales techniques to initiate contact, assess customer needs, and present NWD solutions that address technical and program requirements.
Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and proposal materials that effectively communicate NWD’s capabilities and value proposition.
Support quoting activity, proposal preparation, and follow‑up communication to ensure a smooth sales process and positive customer experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in coordination with internal teams to ensure satisfaction and maintain relationships.
Maintain a strong understanding of NWD’s product portfolio, competitive positioning, and industry trends.
Maintain accurate opportunity and customer data within the CRM system (Salesforce).
Coordinate with internal departments, engineering, operations, contracts, and program management, to meet customer expectations.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as required.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
3-7+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or outside sales preferred; experience in Aerospace and Defense or technical sales is a plus.
3+ years supporting Regional Sales Leader in the Eastern time zone.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Willingness to learn NWD’s embedded computing and FPGA-based systems in depth.
Willingness to travel ~25% for customer meetings or events.
Physical Parameters
Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds.
Must have finger and wrist dexterity with repetitive motion.
Due to the type of work at our facilities and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be of a "U.S. Person". The candidate must be able to prove so, with remittance of proper identification supporting so, upon an acceptance of employment.
