About the Position The San Jose Earthquakes are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Manager of Premium Sales to drive revenue, hit sales goals, and lead new business generation in the premium seating areas of Suites and Club Seating. The Premium Sales Manager is responsible for engaging and converting existing customers, while also identifying new prospects interested in purchasing premium seating. This position will be focused on prospecting, appointment setting, executing in‑stadium and off‑office sales presentations, and securing premium seating commitments, including single‑game suites, large corporate outings, season tickets, and leased suites.

They will support sales through season, group, corporate hospitality and premium seating packages for the San Jose Earthquakes, working under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Group and Premium Sales.

Responsibilities
Execute face‑to‑face meetings, both at PayPal Park and offsite, to share an overview of projects, new premium seating opportunities, and secure seating commitments.
Perform accurate and skilled deal closings.
Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by partner organizations.
Conduct sales conversations via phone presentations, in‑office meetings/presentations, and meetings at the stadium.
Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including networking events, speaking engagements, one‑on‑one dinners/lunches, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games, open houses at the stadium, and outside meetings.
Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in the CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical purposes.
Meet or exceed all individual and team new‑business sales goals associated with the new premium seating products, both groups and season tickets.
Serve as the expert both internally among Quakes Ticketing and externally with all sales prospects on all elements of the various stadium enhancements and premium seating amenities.
Must be willing to work non‑traditional hours, weekends, events, and game days.
Be accountable for certain levels of activity (calls made/appointments set) and goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of prior sales experience preferred.
Prior experience selling five‑ and six‑figure deals in the professional or collegiate sports and entertainment industry preferred.
Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining organized, efficient, and calm under pressure.
Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines independently.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Proficient in software programs including Salesforce CRM and experience in a ticketing system.
Resourceful, innovative, and forward‑thinking.
Ability to generate new business from companies and individuals not currently supporting the Quakes.
Ability to handle a heavy volume of outbound and inbound phone calls and emails.
Strong time‑management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Candidate should possess an optimistic team‑first attitude and a competitive desire to be the best.
Salary $65,000 + commission
