Fixes and maintains computers, laptops, and other hardware. Installs or updates software when needed. Helps with user accounts (like passwords, access rights, and security). Trains employees on how to use systems or tools. Figures out why a computer or system isn’t working, and either repairs it or orders replacement parts. Suggets the right products or services for users based on their needs. Experience & Education
Usually needs an
Associate’s degree (2 years of college)
or similar experience. Works well for someone with
0–3 years of experience
in IT support or related work. Other things to know
Uses standard IT practices (nothing too advanced). Follows instructions and guidelines (not expected to make big independent decisions). Reports to a manager or team lead. This is an
