The job duties are flexible and subject to change depending upon operational needs. Required Skills/Abilities • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team. • Excellent communication and time management skills. • Must be able to successfully complete the AMI Credentialing Process. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. • Ability to collect, organize, record, and communicate behavioral and medical data effectively. • Knowledge of medical conditions, growth and development patterns, and behavioral health considerations. • Understanding of pharmaceuticals, including desired effects, side effects, and potential complications. • Ability to respond appropriately in stressful situations with emotional control, tact, and patience. • Skills in providing health instruction and guidance to patients and families Education & Experience • Current/active CNA certification • At least 24 months of direct patient care experience within the last 48 months • Current/active BLS certification (American Heart Association compliant) Additional Requirements • Proof of required immunizations and health clearances (including PPD/TB Gold, annual influenza vaccination, MMR, and Hepatitis B) • Ability to meet physical and training requirements established by IHS and GPARDDU • Successful completion of federal background check, fingerprinting, and pre-employment clearance • Must be able to work in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations. Must work as a team member to improve safety culture and quality. • Read and follow instructions. Demonstrate safe work behavior. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. • Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently.
