Surgical Technologist Location: La Salle, TX 77969 Schedule: Full-Time, Flexible Shifts Available Join Our Surgical Team in La Salle, Texas We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team in La Salle. In this role, you will assist with the preparation of the operating room, maintain a sterile environment, and support the surgical team throughout various procedures. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety and success of surgeries, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment Maintain a sterile field during surgery and assist the surgical team by passing instruments Perform surgical counts before, during, and after surgery to ensure all instruments are accounted for Assist with patient positioning and prepping the surgical area Clean and restock the operating room after surgeries Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety Document surgical counts and patient information accurately in the medical records Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations and optimal care Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred Current BLS certification required Knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and operating room procedures Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
