About the Security Platforms Engineering (SPE) team The SPE team builds and operates foundational security services, including asset inventory, vulnerability management, risk insights, and a unified security experience. The team focuses on strong security foundations and resiliency to threats, enabling scale and systematic risk reduction. About the Role As a Security Engineer 5 – Vulnerability Management Analytics, you will analyze data related to our security posture and develop insights that advance vulnerability management and strategic security programs. You will design metrics, build dashboards, and surface actionable intelligence to strengthen security posture. The role is remote for candidates located in Poland. Key Responsibilities Own the end‑to‑end process: define, build, and maintain security metric dashboards and conduct in‑depth analyses to surface trends and insights in vulnerability data. Collaborate closely with security engineers to understand program posture and identify opportunities to improve identification, prioritization, and remediation workflows. Partner with stakeholders to translate security needs into actionable recommendations. Share expertise and innovations with the broader security community to strengthen collective capabilities and enable best practices. About You Proven track record of defining, designing, and developing scalable analytic tools and systems, ideally in vulnerability management or security analytics. High proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and experience with data visualization tools such as Preset or Tableau. Strong foundation in statistical inference, data analysis, and data engineering best practices. Experience orchestrating cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority, using analytics to inform and steer security decisions. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to handle ambiguity and take ownership with minimal oversight. Alignment with Netflix culture and inclusion values.
