Position Overview We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Kraków, Poland. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days per week in the Kraków office. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated test suites, strengthening CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system robustness across our SaaS ecosystem. Responsibilities Manual & Exploratory Testing: Execute manual test cases for UI, API, and end‑to‑end user workflows; perform exploratory testing; document bug reports; validate business requirements and user acceptance criteria. Automation Engineering: Develop and maintain automated tests for UI, API, microservices, and integration layers; contribute to scalable, reusable automation frameworks; create validations for distributed systems, service‑to‑service interactions, queues, and API contracts. Quality Ownership: Work closely with developers and product partners; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines; support exploratory, UAT, and end‑to‑end testing. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, GitHub workflows, learning sessions; contribute ideas to improve testing approaches and product quality. Qualifications 3–5 years of QA automation or test engineering experience. Experience writing test cases, plans, and defect documentation. Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with WebdriverIO and/or Playwright. Experience automating UI, API, and integration scenarios; familiarity with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar platforms. Version control with Git; basic understanding of REST APIs and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM). Awareness of CI/CD principles. Basic SQL query knowledge. Agile/Scrum team experience. Strong communication, detail orientation, proactive ownership mindset. Nice to Have SQL basics. Performance or accessibility testing concepts. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
