Wicklow | €70,000 | 4-Day Week I'm currently partnering with a well-established, purpose-led organisation in Bray that is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to join its leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working in an SME environment where they can make a real impact.
Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, you'll take ownership of the finance function while partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to bring greater financial leadership in-house and shape the future of the finance function.
The Role Lead the finance function and manage one direct report.
Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
Deliver meaningful financial analysis to support business decisions.
Manage audit, compliance and financial controls.
Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting.
Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic initiatives.
About You Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA).
Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
Strong management reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
Commercially minded with a hands-on approach.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working in a broad SME role.
A background in retail, wholesale, distribution or e-commerce would be a significant advantage.
