The Team – your impact You will be part of our Data & AI Engineering Chapter that represents all experts who deliver data and AI engineering capabilities to our product teams. These experts are organized together to enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON’s MLOps & GenAIOps tech stack and ensure a high level of data delivery & model automation. The product team where you will work in daily provides Corporate solutions to the entire E.ON group. The digital solutions range from agentic support for auditing processes to a data and AI platform for Health and Safety of E.ON workers. Your Role – meaningful & rewarding Work on multiple AI-driven products, ranging from classical Machine Learning to cutting-edge AI agents Develop and operate AI agents to autonomously perform tasks based on user queries and retrieved information Scale and operate classical Machine Learning models to derive insights from safety incidents and provide actionable information to workers at risk Create intuitive interfaces and dashboards for data visualization, including geospatial data analysis Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists and IT teams to identify opportunities for AI-powered solutions Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of the digital solutions Your Profile – authentic & open-minded Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field Proven experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, AI Engineering, MLOps or related areas Proficient in Python and experienced with LLMs and ML frameworks (e.g., LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) Strong expertise in building, deploying, and operating AI / ML solutions, including prompt engineering for LLMs and vector databases Hands-on experience with data ingestion pipelines, custom connectors, and data integration techniques Familiarity with Azure cloud environments and agile ways of working Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal AI / ML portfolio is nice to have Our Benefits – smart & useful Enjoy flexibility: You can combine coming to the office and working from home flexibly.
