The Information Security Manager significantly impacts MSF’s overall security posture by setting the vision and strategy for information security, managing risks, leading incident response efforts, and fostering a security-conscious culture. Their decisions directly influence the organization’s resilience against cyber threats.
This is a newly created role will play a crucial role in protecting and preparing MSF against cyber threats. Are you passionate about information security, with a pragmatic approach to increase OCG maturity towards Information Security? If so, we want to hear from you.
ResponsibilitiesRisk Management
- Identify security threats and assessing risks.
- Develop strategies and roadmap to mitigate risks and protect assets.
Security Policies and Procedures
- Create and maintain information security policies and procedures.
- Establish security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
Implementation
- Hands-on execution to deliver against the roadmap.
- Monitor tools as relevant.
Compliance and Audits
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct audits to assess security measures and identify areas for improvement.
Partnership and influence
- Align with other MSF Operational Centers towards a convergence of InfoSec measures.
- Influence others to be compliant with the InfoSec guidance and standards.
Experience / Skills
- Do you have at least 10 years of experience in Information Security?
- Do you have relevant certifications related to the security field?
- Are you passionate about improving the maturity level of an organization? Do you enjoy seeing this maturity improve over time?
- Are you able to juggle handling urgency in a crisis situation with delivering against a roadmap?
- Are you naturally curious and keep up to date with security trends and risks?
- Can you maneuver in a matrix environment, influencing the various stakeholder to drive decisions benefiting the Information Security agenda?
Languages
- Fluent in both French and English
Terms of Employment
- Full-time position 100% (40h/week)
- Full term contract
- Working place: Geneva, Switzerland
- Ideal start date: As soon as possible
- Gross annual salary (for 100%): from CHF 101’172.- to CHF 115’332.- (salary commensurate with equivalent experience and internal salary grid)
- Paid vacation: 25 days per year, prorate temporis, plus any Swiss public holidays falling within the contract period.
- Pension plan: pension contribution covered 3/4 by MSF, 1/4 by staff member.
- Relocation package if moving from a different country to Switzerland.
