*Job Summary*
As part of the team, you will be guided, trained and then responsible for building and maintaining a variety of software solutions for our customers in the Energy Industry.
We are looking to complement our Software team here in Aberdeen with an ambitious and knowledgeable developer who is keen to learn.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and advance in their career and must be flexible in their outlook. Previous work experience is not required.
*Main Duties Include:*
* Provide support to our existing customer base who are already using deployed solutions.
* Assist in planning, design and testing of new and existing business solutions and applications.
* Assist with the evaluation of existing IT applications and solutions and identify improvements.
* Work on R&D projects as required.
Candidates should possess the following:
*Required Skills / Experience: -*
* _*Graduate in an IT related course (Maths, Physics also considered)*_
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Highly motivated and organised
* Problem solving and analytical thinking
* Flexible approach to work
* Understanding of programming, and ability to code in at least one programming language
*Desirable skills:*
* SharePoint Online
* PowerBi (Dax)
* .NET, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or Java.
* SQL, C# programming
* HTML, JS, XML and CSS
* Virtual infrastructure configuration.
* WordPress platforms
* Willingness to travel overseas for short periods of time
