Solutions Architect Lead, (FI/CO)
to guide a team in designing and delivering innovative solutions that support our business operations worldwide. In this role, you'll work closely with internal and external experts to modernise our finance platforms, drive transformation, and make a real impact in a collaborative and inclusive environment that values creativity, leadership, and continuous improvement. Principle Accountabilities Lead the design and development of finance technology solutions : Integrating new features and services across global platforms to support business growth and innovation. Provide expert guidance on finance systems best practices : Influencing process improvements and ensuring solutions align with industry standards. Architect and deliver scalable solutions : Across both cloud-based and specific environments, tailored to business needs and future-ready strategies. Oversee technical problem-solving and support : Ensuring smooth delivery, integration, and ongoing performance of finance systems. Mentor and guide cross-functional teams : Fostering collaboration, maintaining technical standards, and driving continuous improvement across internal and external partners. Engage with stakeholders and strategic partners : Translating business requirements into effective technical designs while ensuring quality, compatibility, and customer satisfaction. Skills and Experience Required Extensive SAP Finance Expertise : Proven experience working across both SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance platforms, with a strong grasp of system architecture and transformation. Leadership in Finance Architecture : Demonstrated success in senior or lead architect roles, with a deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes within SAP environments. Comprehensive Process Knowledge : Strong background in implementing and optimising key finance functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Banking, Asset Accounting, Cost & Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and the Material Ledger. Cross-Module Integration : In-depth understanding of how finance integrates with other SAP modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Tax, Reporting, and Master Data Governance (MDG), along with key accounting processes like month/year-end closing, balance sheet, and P&L reporting. Project & Team Leadership : Experience managing SAP finance projects and leading cross-functional teams of Solution Architects and Software Engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Modern Financial Tools & Compliance : Familiarity with S/4HANA Financial Management tools, including Document and Reporting Compliance, Group Reporting & Financial Planning and a strong focus on delivering compliant, future-ready finance solutions.
