We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Administrator to oversee, maintain, and improve the organisation’s IT infrastructure and business systems. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and continuous improvement of business applications and systems across the organisation.
The successful candidate will ensure system performance and reliability, provide user support, identify opportunities to improve operational processes, and contribute to business-critical projects and system developments. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, supporting innovative solutions and driving technological excellence across the organisation.
*Key Accountabilities:*
* Administer and support business systems, applications, and associated SQL databases
* Monitor system performance, functionality, information logs, and data integrity
* Investigate and resolve day-to-day operational issues relating to PID Business Systems tools.
* Identify, document, and implement system and process improvements
* Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot defects, and support debugging activities
* Generate, maintain, and distribute operational and management reports
* Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and compliance records to a high standard
* Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support operational requirements
* Support application deployment, upgrades, and configuration changes
* Ensure service requests and support tickets are managed within agreed SLAs
*Key Deliverables: *
* Delivery of new procedures, process documentation, and user training rollouts
* Timely resolution of support tickets in line with agreed SLAs
* Improved operational efficiency through system and process optimisation
* Accurate and reliable reporting for operational and management use
*Occasional responsibilities: *
* Support wider Development and IT team activities across the group
* Assist with business improvement projects and system implementations
* Maintain awareness of relevant legislation, technologies, and industry developments
* Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role and skillset when reasonably requested
*Qualifications: *
* Degree in Computer Science or any related field - Essential
*Key Skills:*
* MIS and business application support
* SQL database administration and performance tuning
* SSRS / SSDT reporting and data modelling
* Scripting (C#, PowerShell, Python)
* Microsoft data platforms (Data Lake, Power Automate)

Experience:
* System administration: 2 years (preferred)
