Status: Full Time 80 Hours Shift: Variable Emergency physicians provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages arriving to the emergency department. Their primary job functions are to resuscitate or stabilize patients and refer them to the appropriate medical departments. Emergency physicians collaborate with physicians of other specialties as well as other members of the emergency department staff. Emergency physicians must evaluate a wide variety of ailments, sometimes with little to no information. Carry out immediate evaluation and management of emergency patients that are brought in for treatment. Request the appropriate medical tests and based on them, follow a treatment plan. Maintain the patient's medical records. Complete patient charts in EPIC within 72 hours of seeing patient. Review all medical (laboratory and radiology) reports concerning patients. Should attend staff and committee meetings unless working, post night or late evening shifts or have an excused absence. Doctor of Medicine; Completion of Emergency Medicine Residency.
  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine; Physician MD; Physician - Controlled Substance Registration Or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) licensure.
  • Experience: At minimum, completion of Emergency Medicine Residency
