What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform power system studies and prepare reports using ETAP, SKM, and PSCAD while collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams
Develop project proposals, including defining scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budgets
Manage project execution to ensure milestones are met and provide regular updates to team members and clients
Mentor and support the growth and development of less-experienced staff members
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to foster collaboration and a positive team culture
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience related to power delivery and engineering responsibilities
Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, laws, and regulations
Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain within one year
Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
10+ years of experience at a consulting engineering firm, electric utility, or industrial company
Background in PLC and HMI programming and commissioning
Experience with electrical installations in hazardous areas
