We currently have an exciting opening for a Business Development Representative.
Radial is the pre‑eminent B2C eCommerce fulfillment solutions provider powering some of the world’s best customer experiences, specializing in tailored, scalable eCommerce fulfillment solutions for mid‑market and enterprise brands.
Role Summary The Business Development Representative will report to the Director of Demand Generation and will be responsible for working cross‑functionally with the Sales team and Demand Generation team to support business revenue and growth goals.
Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Account Research
Research and identify ecommerce retailers/brands that align with Radial’s ICP and priority vertical markets (e.g., apparel/footwear, health/beauty, and other defined verticals).
Build and maintain targeted account lists using approved tools and data sources.
Identify buying signals and triggers (e.g., growth/peak scaling, fulfillment pain, international expansion, platform shifts, service disruptions, CX/returns challenges) to prioritize outreach.
Outbound Prospecting
Proactively generate new leads through outbound channels including cold email, cold calls, social selling, and network outreach.
Execute sequenced, multi‑touch cadences aligned to defined plays and messaging.
Personalize outreach based on account context, role/persona, and relevant trigger signals.
Lead Qualification & Meeting Setting
Qualify leads using defined criteria (e.g., fit, pain, timing, decision process, volumes/complexity, current state) and ask effective discovery questions.
Schedule meetings for prospects and assigned Sales Directors with clear context, agenda, and qualification notes.
Support transition‑readiness conversations and be able to articulate the basics of Radial’s onboarding/implementation approach (including Fast Track positioning where applicable).
Lead Nurture & Follow‑Up Discipline
Maintain consistent follow‑up with non‑ready leads via structured nurture touches and re‑qualification.
Meet or exceed speed‑to‑lead expectations for inbound inquiries (SLA defined by the team).
CRM Hygiene & Performance Management
Maintain accurate CRM activity, lead/account/contact records, and dispositioning.
Track and report on weekly productivity and performance metrics (activity, connection, meeting set, conversion rates) and continuously improve based on results.
Work collaboratively with assigned Sales Directors and Marketing partners to generate a healthy month‑over‑month pipeline.
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a B2B Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.
Hands‑on experience with multiple sales techniques and tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, etc.).
Track record of achieving weekly/monthly lead quotas.
Market/industry knowledge in supply chain/transportation and shipping or related field a plus but not required.
Strong communication, listening skills, and ability to influence and persuade others.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑starter, ability to achieve goals without daily supervision.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision‑making skills.
Strong business acumen and writing skills.
Excellent organizational, project management, and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and act as a positive agent of change.
Work Experience & Education
Minimum of 1‑3 years of experience in B2B lead generation, inside sales, or field marketing role.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or comparable education/experience.
