Job Summary The Associate Solution Consultant role at Granicus is an ideal launchpad for early‑career professionals passionate about solving complex public sector problems through technology. This is not just an entry‑level role—it’s a mission‑driven apprenticeship in value‑based discovery, technical storytelling, and solution design.
As an ASC, you’ll support mid‑stage sales opportunities (Stage 2 and beyond) by conducting structured discovery, synthesizing agency needs, and contributing to solution‑design documentation. While your work will be guided by senior consultants, you’ll quickly grow into owning early deliverables—helping translate stakeholder input into well‑scoped, outcome‑aligned solutions.
Impact
Participate in Stage 2+ opportunities by preparing for and documenting discovery calls
Translate discovery insights into draft solution designs using established templates
Identify early‑fit signals and product alignment with support from senior SCs
Capture customer goals, pain points, and workflows in written form to support later demo or proposal work
Review solution patterns and use cases to understand how Granicus platforms solve civic problems
Work in Salesforce and Teams to maintain records, collaborate with AEs, and update internal documentation
Contribute to internal retrospectives, playbook enhancements, or shared demo resources as you learn

Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in SaaS, consulting, or public sector problem‑solving roles
A passion for public service and interest in how government services can be improved through technology
Strong communication skills and curiosity around discovery, stakeholder needs, and product alignment
Exposure to or interest in CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), collaboration tools (Teams), or business analysis methods
A high level of accountability and willingness to grow from feedback, coaching, and real‑world opportunity work
Commitment to cross‑functional learning and supporting teammates through shared insights
Success Metrics
Completes all onboarding milestones, including tool proficiency, framework training, and ride‑along participation
Demonstrates growth in solution documentation quality, discovery contributions, and internal reliabilityProduces usable solution design drafts with positive feedback from SCs and AEs
Engages actively in peer reviews, retrospectives, and team meetings with increasing insight and confidence
Maintains timely updates in CRM and presales assets with a high level of attention to detail
Becomes known for being coachable, dependable, and a strong partner to both SCs and AEs
Pay Range USD $75,000 – $85,000 per year.
