This role is ideal for a mid-career product manager who’s excited to work on the full spectrum of use case discovery, product framing and shaping, managing feedback, defining iteration and growth opportunities, etc. At Synadia, you’ll get to do all of it. One day you’re in a (virtual) whiteboard session with engineers designing a new capability, the next you’re demoing it to a prospect and gathering feedback, and the next you’re sitting with the executive team aligning on roadmap priorities. You’ll serve as a central connector across the organization, translating between engineering, product marketing, customer needs, and market opportunities. Your work will directly shape the roadmap, refine product polish, and meaningfully improve how customers adopt and experience Synadia’s products. It’s a high-impact role for someone energized by building technically sophisticated products that our customers’ massive, high-profile distributed systems depend on. What you’ll do
See the big picture
Develop a sharp understanding of the competitive landscape and where the market is headed Talk directly to users and prospects - demo new capabilities, recruit beta customers, learn what’s working and what’s not Work with the executive team on roadmap priorities and product direction Be the connective tissue across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success Live in the product - understand it deeply, use it, break it, know where the rough edges are Triage customer feedback and feature requests with Sales and Customer Success Participate in shaping sessions with Engineering to scope and prioritize work Drive accountability for product quality and delivery - raising the bar on usability, eliminating rough edges, and ensuring we hit key milestones and launch timelines Qualifications – What we’re looking for
5+ years in software development or technical roles 3+ years in product management Experience at an early-stage startup (Series B or earlier) Comfortable context-switching between tactical work and strategic conversations Experience with distributed systems, messaging, or infrastructure software Familiarity with open source communities and developer audiences You communicate clearly and build trust with engineers, executives, and customers You are self-directed and don’t wait to be told what needs doing Bonus
Experience with NATS.io, Kafka, TIBCO, JMS, MQTT, AMQP, RabbitMQ Experience with Linear Experience with Shape Up Location

The projected salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. The projected salary range is just one component of the total compensation for this position.
