Role Responsibilities
Identify, analyze, and address risks related to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in financial documents and digital systems.
Apply advanced knowledge of global data protection laws such as GDPR and CCPA to ensure strict compliance in all data handling practices.
Review and redact sensitive financial documents, including Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), financial statements, and contracts, using industry-standard privacy and redaction tools.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to establish and document robust data privacy protocols across sensitive workflows.
Evaluate document content for indirect identifiers, recognizing that PII can reside beyond the obvious, such as in proprietary processes or unique reconciliation protocols.
Provide expert recommendations to enhance data privacy controls within the customer s finance and corporate environments.
Requirements
Have a minimum of hands‑on experience with PII compliance in finance or corporate settings.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA) and their application to financial data.
Demonstrate expertise in sensitive document handling and redaction tools.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex privacy requirements into actionable practices for the customer's team.
Have experience managing workflows and protocols that involve confidential information within financial systems.
