Key Responsibilities Operational Program Management
Understand client objectives and incorporate them into program service goals.
Ensure that program services are executed in compliance with contracted service levels.
Accountable for managing the client service request queue (both completion and work in progress).
Implement and manage client‑specific business rules.
Proactively identify opportunities for program improvements in scope and/or efficiency.
Evaluate data and provide actionable insights that drive the program forward consistent with client objectives.
Monitor and provide weekly updates on items impacting program financial forecast.
Prepare activity summaries for the development and review of client monthly invoices.
Primary responsibility for the preparation of client business review meetings with operational metrics and data insights.
Serve as the point of contact for program/operational queries and issue resolution.
Ensure client reporting of adverse events/product complaints is reported according to client work instructions.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Team Selection, Hiring, Training and Development
Identify talent for open positions, including developing internal candidates for promotional opportunities.
Partner with Human Resources to ensure program staffing levels are achieved at all times.
Develop a steady pipeline of candidates through proactive collaboration with HR.
Drive training, development and retention of the team.
Client Support
Prepare, review and analyze client‑specific operational results.
Primary responsibility for preparing client business review meetings.
Act as the point of contact for program/operational queries and issue resolution.
Ensure client reporting of adverse events/product complaints is completed per instructions.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry (required).
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
Previous personnel/team management experience required; experience managing managers is a plus.
Knowledge of the specialty drug product marketplace, health insurance claims processing, and commercialization of products and working with manufacturers is a plus.
Previous experience leading customer service teams is a plus.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Requires regular talking or hearing, frequent sitting for long periods, use of hands to type, handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms.
Preferred candidate should type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.
Minimum flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.
Occupies a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.
