As Ninety continues to experience exceptional growth, we are looking to bring on a Principal Engineer who will lead the development of our products and who will report to an Engineering Lead. As a Principal Engineer, you will be a strategic technical leader responsible for shaping the architecture and long-term vision of our SaaS operations and distributed systems. You will drive critical projects, influence engineering culture, and ensure the delivery of robust and scalable software solutions on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture for SaaS operations and distributed systems
Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
Collaborate with senior leadership to align technical initiatives with business goals
Mentor and coach engineering teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Conduct high-level code and architecture reviews to ensure adherence to best practices
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in software development, with extensive experience in SaaS operations and distributed systems
Deep expertise in designing and building scalable, distributed systems
Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive technical direction
Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and cloud platforms
Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
