Logistics Data Analyst – Advanced Excel. Responsibilities
Responsible for analysis of freight contracts across modes, equipment types, and carriers, to uncover areas of opportunity and mitigate financial risks. Identify solutions and execute to drive results. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Provide analysis and interpretation of information regarding logistics cost components. Gather data, provide analysis, and evaluate results to determine best solution to solve a problem. Analyze financial transactions data to find patterns, trends, inconsistencies. Investigate, research, and resolve outstanding disputed invoices. Audits & correct disputed invoices submitted by internal and external customers. Identifies root cause of billing disputes, reports process deficiencies and recommends process improvements to create efficiencies and reduce errors. Analyzes invoices for billing accuracy, works with internal teams to ensure that revenue is applied correctly to invoices. What you bring to the team: Bachelor’s Degree At least 3 years of experience in a Logistics Data Analyst position Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in logistics, freight, or transportation management. Keen interest in logistics management work. IT Proficiency in office applications such as Microsoft. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and closely with internal and external parties. Those who can start soon would be an advantage. Able to start as soon as possible. Required Attributes: Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong time management and organizational skills Good communication and interpersonal skills High energy and dedication levels Good people management and retention skills Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization Positive and solution-oriented mindset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High aptitude to learn new tools and technologies English communication skills are a must.
