Role In this role, the successful candidate will work directly with the founder to accelerate the evolution of systems originally built in-house, with a focus on scaling backend infrastructure and delivering critical features that support front-line recruiting teams.
Requirements
6+ years of backend engineering experience (with production-grade systems)
Strong expertise in Python and Django
Experience building applications that leverage GenAI APIs (e.g. OpenRouter, OpenAI, etc.)
Uses Cursor/Claude by default and has built strong workflows to balance quality with productivity
Strong communication skills and ability to work across time zones
Experience working independently in a remote-first environment
Bonus Points
Background in a high-growth startup environment
Experience mentoring or helping other engineers grow
Familiarity with implementing testing frameworks to ensure code quality
Full-stack development experience in addition to backend expertise
