Senior Commercial Manager Market leader within off-site construction and engineering solutions is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join their growing team and earn an excellent package with benefits. Company: Our client is a well-established and rapidly expanding engineering and construction group delivering turnkey projects across Ireland and international markets. With a strong focus on off-site construction methods, they are driving efficiency and innovation by significantly reducing on-site build times. Operating across multiple European locations and continuing to expand into new territories, our client delivers complex projects to sectors including data centres, pharma, industrial and large-scale infrastructure. Due to sustained growth and an increasing project portfolio, they are now seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead and develop their commercial function. Role: Based in Dublin with a hybrid office requirement, the successful Senior Commercial Manager will take full ownership of the commercial function across a diverse international project portfolio. Responsibilities include: Lead and manage the commercial team across the full project lifecycle from contract award through to final account. Ensure all contracts align with initial estimates, with a strong focus on identifying, valuing and recovering variations. Oversee procurement strategy and subcontractor package letting, negotiating favourable terms while maintaining programme and quality. Administer main contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of all commercial issues. Prepare and present monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVR), forecasts, and cashflow reports to senior leadership. Manage progress payments, change control processes, and mitigate commercial risk across multiple projects. Provide key commercial input into value engineering, risk management, and strategic project decisions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key delivery partners. Mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, driving high performance and consistency across projects. Person: We are looking to speak with candidates who meet the following criteria: 10+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Proven track record operating in a senior commercial leadership capacity. Prior experience managing and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors is essential. Strong expertise in contract administration, variation recovery, CVR reporting, cashflow forecasting, and final accounts. Background within mechanical, electrical, or engineering-led construction environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage at senior level. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects across different regions. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 1/2 days per month).
