JOB TITLE:Member Services Officer/Teller CREDIT UNION:NenaghCreditUnion REPORTING TO:CEOandMemberServicesManager Nenagh Credit Union Limited are inviting applications for the position of Member Services Officer/Teller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and ambitious Credit Union with over 18,500 members and assets of €93 million. Nenagh Credit Union wish to appoint a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to this position. GENERAL SCOPE OF ROLE: Reporting to the CEO and Member Services Manager, the Member Services Officer/Teller will be responsible for carrying out a range of operational and administrative activities that contribute to providing excellent member experience and support the effective and compliant operation of the Credit Union. The successful candidate will be member focused and highly motivated, with a very clear sense of what constitutes providing a great member experience. More specifically, he/she will: Deliveranexcellentmemberserviceacrossmultipledeliverychannels adheringto the Principles Values and Culture of Nenagh Credit Union. PromoteandexplainproductsandservicesofferedbyNenaghCreditUniontocurrentand potential members. Processmembertransactionsincludinglodgments,withdrawalsandtransfers,account opening and re-activation. Issuememberloansandensurethatallloanconditionsaresatisfied. Deal with and resolve member queries. ReferloanapplicationstotheLendingteam. Accuratelyanddiligentlyhandlecash,reconcilebalancesandaccountforany shortfall/excess Completetheday-to-dayback-officeprocessingofautomatedfiles Supportingoperationalactivitiesandparticipatinginprojectworkasrequired Workingcollaborativelywithcolleaguestoensuretheefficientoperationoftheoffice Operate within the risk and compliance frameworks of Nenagh Credit Union and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements policies and procedures The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and may change to meet the overall objectives of the Credit Union The Person: Progressive,solutionfocussed&flexible,withaproventrackrecordofworkingonown initiative Minimum 3 years Customer Service experience ideally in Financial Services customer facing roles Arelevantfinancialservicesqualification,suchasAPAand/orQFA(orequivalent)orwillingto complete one of these qualifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a clear understanding of what greatmember experience is & how it is delivered AttentiontodetailiskeytoensurethattheCreditUnionmeetsitsresponsibilitiesasa regulated entity & gets it right first time for our members Strongpeopleskillswiththeabilitytoworkeffectivelywithotherteammembers Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications The Benefits At our company, we believe in taking care of our employees.
