$90-120K DOE Position Summary The Business Data Analyst supports supply chain performance through data-driven insights, strategic reporting, and advanced analytics. This role is focused on improving forecast accuracy, supporting Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), optimizing inventory levels, and enhancing operational efficiency across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Finance, and Commercial teams to analyze complex data, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable recommendations that support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting Deliver accurate and timely business intelligence to support Supply Chain and SIOP functions Develop and maintain dashboards and reports related to forecast accuracy, inventory health, supplier performance, and production efficiency Own SIOP reporting and provide weekly/monthly updates highlighting gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities Analyze historical and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement Support monthly forecasting cycles and scenario planning initiatives Data Management & Process Improvement Maintain and improve databases, reporting tools, and data models to support decision-making Validate ERP/MRP master data including routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Act as a gatekeeper for master data accuracy and change management processes Track and measure KPIs related to operational efficiency, inventory alignment, and forecasting performance Partner with Planning, Operations, and Sourcing teams to identify and quantify operational improvements and supply risks Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Planning and Commercial teams to align demand forecasts with operational capabilities Support strategic vendor analysis and sourcing initiatives Participate in benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives to support world-class supply chain operations Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred Equivalent work experience may be considered Experience 5+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or business analytics 2+ years of experience supporting SIOP planning and forecasting processes Experience with demand forecasting, inventory analysis, production planning, or operational analytics Familiarity with packaging or contract manufacturing environments is a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, SUMIFS, etc.) Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Microsoft Navision or similar platforms Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred Knowledge of statistical forecasting and trend analysis techniques Familiarity with SharePoint and collaborative reporting tools Additional Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders High level of professionalism and confidentiality Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally Traditional office environment with standard noise levels Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Forecast accuracy and bias Timeliness and quality of SIOP reporting ERP master data integrity and reporting accuracy Inventory alignment and operational efficiency metrics On-time delivery of analytics and reporting deliverables Routing accuracy and operational uptime ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNEL Do you need your next job fast?
