Purpose of the position

The DCM Group is a fast-growing company in the field of aeronautics. The company provides the aviation industry with innovative engineering and manufacturing services.

The Saint-Bruno centre of excellence designs and produces ground support equipment for aircraft operators and maintenance centres (MRO), as well as the design and production of cables, harnesses and electromechanical assemblies for these same customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical harnesses ;
  • Assemble electrical boxes (including light mechanics) ;
  • Operate cable identification, wafer identification and laser identification printers ;
  • Ensure an impeccable finish ;
  • Perform all other tasks related to his/her position.

Job Requirements

Education Requirements

  • DEP in cable and circuit assembly ;
  • Any other relevant education or experience will be considered.

Technical skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position ;
  • Know how to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical plans ;
  • Mastery of computer tools ;
  • Experience in aeronautics/avionics (an asset) ;
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards (an asset).

Personal skills

  • Versatility ;
  • Dexterity ;
  • Good vision ;
  • Manual skills for tasks such as drilling, tightening, and riveting ;
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines ;
  • Meticulous and concerned about the quality of his work.
