ABM is looking for a highly committed, hands-on leader with strong experience in post-event cleaning within sports and entertainment venues. The Post-Event Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete turnover of the stadium after games and concerts, typically managing a crew of approximately 200 people per night. This crew is divided into 7 teams, each led by supervisors and leads covering different areas of the facility.
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program
Project Management & Client Relations:
· Work with Project Manager to develop work plans to provide services in a timely, cost-effective manner and ensure contract provisions are met.
· Provide customer with information regarding additional services available at ABM.
· Respond to customer inquiries; discuss and resolve with customer pending complaints/feedback.
· Regular contact with customer to ensure that services meet service contract requirements and to promote customer retention.
· Inform Project Manager of status of work; identify potential issues and recommend appropriate action.
· Keeps Project Manager informed of business issues impacting effectiveness of project; promptly escalates serious issues to Project Manager.
· Increase billable services provided by ABM and add value to the customer by providing additional or periodic services (TAG work).
· Excellent customer service skills to ensure customer retention, enhance service delivery and sell services.
· Report accidents and property damage in an accurate and timely manner.
Employee Relations and Supervision:
· Works closely with frontline personnel to meet customer requirements; determines training requirements and identifies sources meet training and development needs.
· Recommend staffing levels; work with Project Manager and HR to hire, train and evaluate staff.
· Understand applicable union contracts and develop effective working relationship with local labor unions.
· Enforce ABM and client policies and procedures through mentoring and coaching of field personnel.
- Proven leadership ability to direct large teams under tight deadlines and challenging conditions
- Strong communication skills, including a commanding presence and the ability to clearly convey plans and expectations on the spot
- Deep knowledge of industry-standard post-event cleaning processes and the ability to train, demonstrate, and enforce those standards
- Hands-on experience with administrative tasks: employee check-in/check-out, time sheet processing, and accurate payroll coordination
- Experience working with staffing agencies to consistently secure sufficient crew numbers
- Detail-oriented mindset focused on delivering flawless results every night, as the stadium must be fully turned over within the contractual timeframe — even when understaffed
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
