Job Title: Senior Data Scientist
Job Type: Full-time / Remote
Time Zone: PST time zone
Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to play a key role in advancing our marketing intelligence capabilities. This role bridges the gap between data science, product development, and customer engagement—designing and implementing reliable measurement solutions that help businesses understand and optimize their marketing performance. The ideal candidate thrives in both analytical problem-solving and translating complex technical insights into actionable business strategies.
You’ll work closely with customers, internal engineering, and product teams to refine forecasting models, improve experimentation frameworks, and enhance the accuracy of marketing measurement tools. This position offers strong mentorship, hands‑on project ownership, and the opportunity to grow expertise in marketing analytics, machine learning, and data-driven product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and maintain data science–powered marketing measurement products.
Improve forecasting and experimentation models to enhance accuracy and expand analytical coverage.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Partner with customers to explain statistical concepts, troubleshoot issues, and gather insights to guide product improvements.
Support non-technical stakeholders by clearly communicating technical results and recommendations.
Contribute to model deployment and validation processes to ensure reliability and scalability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative STEM field (Master’s degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
Strong background in statistics, causal inference, and machine learning, with experience applying these methods to real-world business problems (e.g., regression, time series, A/B testing, Bayesian modelling, signal processing).
Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and familiarity with statistical modelling libraries and data platforms.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing projects from concept to delivery.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Growth mindset and willingness to learn marketing measurement methodologies.
Bonus Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in marketing attribution, marketing mix modeling (MMM), or experimentation analysis.
Experience developing and maintaining production-grade models that inform strategic business decisions.
Familiarity with MLOps tools and data pipeline orchestration frameworks.
